If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials w(with or without an outside covering). The container we provide is a wooden tray with heavy cardboard covering or heavy canvas or plastic pouch. The crematory charges $190 for bodies in excess of 300 pounds; $340 in excess of 400 pounds and $750 in excess of 500 pounds. This charge is in excess of normal charges.
