Hope Nicole Shofner was 33 years old when she left her earthly body on September 17, 2020 to be with the Lord.
A visitation will occur on October 2, 2020 at Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home in Forsyth, MO from 5-8 pm. A graveside burial service is to follow on October 3, 2020, at Dickens Cemetery in Taneyville, MO at 2pm.
Hope was born to Phillip Barrett and Barbara Barrett (Fugate) on February 15, 1987. Hope was a loving wife to her spouse, Tammy Shofner. They were married on October 27th of 2019. Her passions included music, concerts, and she was a beautiful make-up artist. Her beauty was otherworldly. She made an indelible mark on everyone that she met including many friends.
Hope’s greatest achievement in life was her two amazing children, King and Ozzy Kephart. Motherhood was Hope’s true calling in life and she loved her boys with all her heart. She knew tomorrow was never promised. She showed that by living her life to the fullest. She traveled, gave her boys experiences that will be forever memories, and let everyone in her life know how much she loved them.
Hope is survived by her children King and Ozzy Kephart; and their father, Nick Kephart; her spouse, Tammy Shofner; her mother, Barbara Barrett; her brothers, Scott, Jeffrey, Jimmy and Tyson; her sisters, Kathy and Cheyenne. Sister-in-law Brenda Plume. Niece and Nephew Stephanie and Brad Baker, and Bradley Barrett and many more nieces and nephews and countless loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her Father, Phillip Barrett.
She will forever be missed, but never forgotten. We know she is looking down on us always. The best way to honor her memory is to keep living every day like it’s your last.
