Patsy Marie Moore, 82 of Forsyth, Mo, died Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Forsyth Nursing & Rehab. A celebration of life will be at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 4, 2022 in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, with Pastor Nick Arnold officiating.
Patsy Marie Moore was born on Tuesday, April 11, 1939 in Coalgate, Ok to Orvil and Pearl (Rynes) Shivers. Patsy was a homemaker. She married Richard Johnston on May 1, 1954 in Durant, Ok, and was married for twenty-seven years. In 1983, she married Delmar Moore in Springfield, Mo and was married for thirty-six years.
Patsy had many hobbies. She enjoyed building and decorating Victorian doll houses, building lamps from spare parts, painting ceramics and she also taught ceramics classes. She also loved working in her garden planting flowers or pulling weeds. She always liked to keep herself busy.
Patsy was very talented in everything she did. She was creative, outstanding, sweet spirited and was beautiful inside and out with the sweetest smile you had ever seen.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Finestead and Pamela Purdue of Forsyth, Mo; one son, Robbie Johnston of Ok; nine grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Johnston and Delmar Moore; parents, Orvil and Pearl Shivers; one son, Ricky Johnston; two brothers, Ted and H.D. Helms; and two sisters, Loretta and Melba.

Cremation is under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, MO.
