Robert Lee Keener, Sr. of Republic, Mo. passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 in Springfield, Mo. Services will be private.
Robert was born on Thursday, May 12, 1966, in Oneonta, Blount County, Alabama.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Louie Roger Keener Sr. and Margie (Clements) Keener; sister, Laura Wesson; brother, Louie Roger Keener, Jr. and brother, David Keener.
He is survived by his sons, Robert James Keener, Christian Keener, Robert Lee Keener Jr; fiancée, Patricia Gerst; siblings, Linda Beam, Kathy Keener, Lisa Keener Sullivan, Dan Keener, Frank Keener, Mark Keener, Roy Lee Keener and Jon Keener as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Beloved family members, brother, John Ellis; daughter, Crystal Gerst; son, John Ellis, III; daughter, Melanie Graetzer-Sheldon; daughter, Melissa Ellis; grandchildren, Jessie James, Victoria, and Alexander, who were family even though they were not blood related.
Cremation is under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, MO.
