Brian Kraig Kolhof April 15, 1979 - December 21, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Kolhof, 43 of Marshfield, Mo, who left us in Springfield on December 21, 2022.

Brian was born in Torrance, California on April 15, 1979 to Karan (Titlow) Thomas and Kraig Kolhof. He attended Berry Creek Middle School and Las Plumas High School. After high school, he worked at a few fast-food places and UPS until he discovered his passion for construction. For a period of time, Brian had his own construction company while he lived in Florida.

Brian was known to be a hard-working man, ingenious with his construction, and would help anyone who asked for it. He built bridges for Emery Sapp and Sons. In the wintertime, he helped build houses. He was passionate about the work he did and often helped family members with their handyman needs and even helped build his mother’s house.

Brian met his wife, Whitney, in 2012. He loved taking Whitney trout fishing at the Roaring River.  They were married in front of their friends and family in 2015 in Marshfield, Missouri. Together they attended the Well Church and built a beautiful family. They had two children together, Kaydee (6) and Braxton (5). Brian had a son Ezra (11) from a previous relationship.

Brian loved family gatherings and enjoyed grilling and smoking meats for everyone. He was an amazing gardener and always made sure his wife had a beautiful place to start a garden while he took care of it! Any of his free time was spent with his three beautiful children and wife. Brian was an amazing father who loved his children with everything he had. He often told silly, corny jokes to get a laugh out of you. He was Uncle Brian to many who surely all have a story to tell of his silliness.

Brian was survived by his wife Whitney and their three children Ezra, Kaydee and Braxton. His mother Karan of Kissee Mills, Mo. Sisters, Janice Kuehn with her wife Jessica of San Diego, Ca. Julie Froid husband Matt and children Payton and Brady of Los Angeles, Ca. Christie Payne husband Terry and children Samantha and Kelsey of Redding, Ca. Brothers, Jarrod Kolhof wife Stephanie, Jacob Kolhof, and Matt Kolhof wife Sarah. He will be lovingly remembered by all of those who have known him. Brian is preceded in death by his father Kraig Kolhof, grandparents Douglas Kolholf and Beverly (Ronk) Blanchard and Maxine Patricia Paul and Lloyd Titlow Jr.

As a man of faith, memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. January 7, 2023, at The Well Church in Springfield, Mo. That address is 720 E. Norton Rd and will be led by Selena Freeman.

He would love to be remembered with funny, eccentric or warm hearted stories that celebrate what was good and blessed in his life.

Cremation is under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, Mo.
