Janet E. Clark 77 of Bradleyville, MO died in her home with family by her side on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm Monday, January 2, 2023 in the KSE Funeral Home Forsyth, MO. Funeral Service will be at 10:00am Tuesday, January 3, 2023 in the funeral home with Pastor Eddie Hunsaker officiating. Graveside service will follow at Dickens Cemetery, Taneyville, MO.
Janet Elaine Clark was born on Saturday May 5, 1945 in Springfield, Mo to Orville and Ruby (Hursh) Hunsucker. Jan was a lifelong resident of Taney County. She attended primary school in the old Cedarcreek schoolhouse and graduated from Forsyth High School with the class of 1962. She Met her husband Ronald Lee Clark while working at the Fox Cafe in Forsyth in 1960. In September of 1966 Jan and Ron were married and remained so for fifty-six years.
Throughout Jan’s life she concentrated on pursuing a career in banking. She started as a teller at the Bank of Taney County and over a long career retired in 2004 as Vice President of Century Bank in Ava, MO.
She enjoyed working outdoors in her flower garden with a emphasis on Iris cultivation, impatiens and mums. She was an avid reader and book collector. She enjoyed many trips to Gulf Shores, AL with friends and family to walk along the Beach and enjoy a good book. She was known for baking her amazing hot rolls and chocolate cake that she loved to share with the community.
Jan was very patient, loving, never said a bad word to anyone and would not participate in gossip; even throughout her illness, she never complained. She was loved by all who knew her. She was a member of the Nazarene Church of Bradleyville, Farm Bureau of Missouri and supporter of the Forsyth Library. Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Lee Clark of Bradleyville, Mo; two daughters, Tammy Baird and husband, Kirk of Bradleyville, Carol Bershears of Ava, Mo; one sister, Marsha Whitley and husband, Jim of Cedarcreek, Mo; five grandchildren, Jason Haden, Shannon Baird, Jeff Breshears, Josh Breshears, Summer Micfarlyn; nine great-grandchildren, Hunter, Fisher, Maddie, Avery, Charity,Sammy, Zack, Hunter, Autumn; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Ruby Hunsucker.

Always had a great smile. I remember She was a great Volley Ball player. The team at Cedar Creek she was on never lost a game for 2-3 years. My thoughts and Prayers for Ronald and all the family.
