Mrs. Tina M. McIntire, age 51 of Rockaway Beach, Mo, died Friday, December 11, 2020 in Springfield, MO. A celebration of life is pending and will be announced at a later date.
Tina Marie McIntire was born, Sunday, April 27, 1969 in Lampasas, Tx, to JoAn Davis and Donald Bliss and later adopted by Douglas Peterson. She graduated from Ellinwood High School in 1988 and went on to attend Cosmetology school. She then worked at ASI as an assembler. She lived in Kansas and Missouri. She moved to Branson, Mo.in 1992 and gave birth to a son in 1994. She then met her loving husband in 1997 and they spent 23 wonderful years together. On December 11,2020 she sadly lost her twenty-one-year battle with cancer after a valiant fight. For Tina, her family was her world. She was loving, kind hearted, and always put others needs before her own. She had a strong Christian faith and was a member of Woodland Hills Church. She enjoyed camping at Cloud 9 with her husband and friends, going to amusement parks with her son, traveling with her bestie, fishing with her dad, loved to go window shopping all day, and above all she loved being a mother.
She is survived by husband Curtis McIntire of Merriam Woods; son, Joe Wendel and wife, Jessie of Merriam Woods; two brothers, Gene Peterson and wife, Toni, and Travis Peterson; three sisters, Ashley, Erin, and Tanya.
She is preceded in death by her mother JoAn.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to your favorite cancer charity to honor her name in an effort to find a cure.
Cremation is under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, Mo.
