Vivian Marie Nepras September 30, 1927 - December 14, 2020

Mrs. Vivian Nepras, 93, of Forsyth, MO, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 in Forsyth, MO. Due to the pandemic, a celebration of Vivian’s life must be delayed. Family and friends will be notified.

Vivian Marie Nepras was born on Friday, September 30, 1927, in Cook County, IL. She was the daughter of the late George and Frances Petrik.  She enjoyed going for walks in her neighborhood where she often found interesting butterflies and insects which she enjoyed sharing with her grandchildren when they visited. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, IL, for 19 years.

Vivian is survived by her beloved husband, Robert of 71 years. Vivian and Robert were neighbors in Cicero, IL as children. After WW2, Vivian and Robert met again at Centennial Beach in Naperville, IL and were soon married. They had two sons and one daughter; Marshall Nepras and his wife, Andrea, of Kenosha, WI; Kent Nepras and his wife, Susan, of Warrenville, IL; Marcia Frimerman and her late husband, Akki, of Calabasas, CA.  They also have six grandchildren, Torie, Kelly, Raymond, Samantha, Jamie, and Betty: and six great grandchildren.

Cremation is under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, MO.

    I new Vivian from the time she worked at COD. She always had a great smile and most helpful to any students and faculty. I always enjoyed talking with her about our families and missed her after leaving the college. May she RIP
