Rosa Lee (Presley) Peanick January 1, 1926 - December 3, 2020

Rosa Lee (Presley) Peanick, age 94 of Forsyth, Mo, departed this earth on Thursday, December 3, 2020, in Forsyth, Mo. Services will be private.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her goal in this life was to be kind, caring, and supportive to family, friends and her community.

Rosa Lee served her church for more than thirty-eight years as a Vacation Bible School Teacher, made dozens of quilts to raise money for the church and worked at and provided her famous French strawberry glaze pies for the annual ice cream social. She served as Room Mother for her children’s classrooms, was a 4-H leader and taught her children, family members and neighborhood children to swim. Rose made all her family members baby quilts for their new arrivals, as well as quilts for the kids in PICU at Mercy Hospital. She baked hundreds of cookies, pies, cakes and breads for sick and lonely neighbors, family and friends. She gave endless free haircuts to family, friends and residents at the local nursing home.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Quinn and husband, Lonnie; grandson Ian Quinn and wife, Mandy; granddaughter Erin Kong and husband, Ray, and great-grandchildren, Zoe Quinn, McKenna Rose Kong and Kieran Kong.

After a life well-lived for ninety-four years, she will be welcomed into heaven to join her loving husband of sixty-eight years, Alvin Peanick; her mother and father, Iris and Edwin Presley, and sisters, Eunice and Margaret.

Mom, Gram and GG will be greatly missed but lives forever in our hearts.

Cremation is under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, MO.
